A Year Remembered, A Path Renewed

As we draw near to the close out of the year, it feels a bit like we’ve wandered into one of those timelines where the air gets suddenly colder and certain choices can leave things… stuck exactly as they are. But that isn’t true in this universe, as we hope you’re celebrating the Guild's launch and beating the absolute heck out of the Shards of the Undying. This update keeps things clean, classic, and magical - the good kind, not the “contract you regret later” kind.

While the team takes a well-earned breather after launching the guilds debut (meaning this month is light), we’ve made sure to make sure your stockings are stuffed with the return of the “12 Days of Gifting” happening December 1st-12th. Just a reminder: This means you get additional daily gifts every day you login during those dates. You don’t want to miss it!

Finally, we wanted to thank our entire community for all you’ve done for us this year. For giving feedback on systems to update the game in a meaningful way. For making the guilds launch successful through your rigorous testing during the beta. And for being an truly awesome community we get to engage with every day.

New Backstage Pass: Snowgrave Showdown

We’re aiming for two modern classics with this chapter, and we think these fighters deliver in a big way. Magicurl Filia is ready to keep you standing tall, batting away incoming debuffs like they’re barely an inconvenience. And Soulbound Annie? She’s more than prepared to guide you through whatever bizarre, reality-twisting detours the universe has in store. Together, they bring a spark of style, strength, and just the right amount of strange to close out the year.

Signature Ability: Miracle of Sacrifice

SA1: When the active Fighter is about to suffer a DEBUFF, Filia sacrifices 10% MAX HP to give the active Fighter IMMUNITY for 3/4/5 seconds. This effect can only trigger once every 10 seconds.

SA2: Also deal 10% MAX HEALTH damage to the opponent and inflict HEAL BLOCK for 5 seconds. Filia’s BLOCKBUSTER or SPECIAL HITS have a 25/30/35% chance of healing her for 10% MAX HEALTH.

SA1: While not in STAR POWER nor benefiting from EVASION, well-time BLOCKS grant 50% STAR POWER meter, 1/2/3 stack(s) of BARRIER, and allows Annie to EVADE all attacks for 3 seconds.

SA2: When activating STAR POWER, sacrifice 35% of MAX HEALTH to gain DEADEYE for 10/12/15 seconds. While in STAR POWER, BENCHED opponents suffer HEX and ALL opponents lose 1/2/3% HEALTH every second.

Annual Hyper Pack Schedule

We’re honoring our holiday tradition with the return of the Hyper Pack this month. And we also wanted to give it a little extra sparkle this year with some new surprises you won’t want to miss.
