The Season Turns: Autumn’s Up!

With the arrival of 7.5, it’s time to say goodbye to “Summer of Slam” and usher in a brand new season of Skullgirls Mobile content: “Autumn’s Up”. So sit back, get cozy, and prepare yourself for some changes to the scenery over the next 3 months.

While we acknowledge that this month’s patch may seem light, we can't over-emphasize the amount of infrastructure updates that are happening to prepare for the next phase of Skullgirls Mobile. As a necessity, most resources have been allocated to the impending mega-launch of Guilds.

With that being said, Autumn’s Up will soon resume its unstoppable schedule in due time. For this month, we still get electrifying new variants, which will soon be followed by spooky surprises and a few mysterious tricks.

What kind do you ask? Well...I see an official fan contest coming in our crystal ball for one. Of course this will be accompanied by some amazing prizes.

This month’s Backstage Pass is buzzing with high-energy hijinks and shocking precision. Ionic Icon Peacock is bringing the buzz with a flashy new variant that’s part show host, part livewire. Perfect for fans of chaotic commentary and neon vibes. Meanwhile, Proton Pulse Robo-Fortune has gone full storm mode with a sleek, hyper-charged form built for speed, claws, and crackling destruction. Come for the spotlight, stay for the lightning strike with these shockingly strong characters amidst the avalanche of alliterations.

SA2: When using a BLOCKBUSTER, gain ENRAGE, EVASION, or REGEN for 10/15/20 seconds per stack of POWER SURGE on both fighters and remove all POWER SURGE.

Key Relic odds have been updated to provide more valuable keys that you’re looking for! They will no longer drop Bronze Keys and have an increased chance of dropping Gold and Diamond keys.

• Gold Key: 20%
• Diamond Key: 5%

Old Bonus Drop Rate (for 10+1):

Balance Changes

The following fighters have undergone balance changes:

Raining Champ Umbrella:

• SA1: While Umbrella is alive, the active Fighter gains 1 stack of BLESSING and UNFLINCHING for 15 seconds every 20/15/10 COMBO HITS.
• SA2: While Umbrella is alive, increase all teammates' ATTACK by 2/3/4% of the Fighter's CURRENT HEALTH for each stack of BLESSING currently on the Fighter.

Model Leader Annie:

• SA1: While Annie is alive, she clears all teammate DEBUFFS and grants ARMOR for 15 seconds every 30/25/20 seconds. All Water teammates also gain 2 stacks of ENRAGE for 15 seconds.
• SA2: Gain permanent AUTO-BLOCK for each 25/20/15% HEALTH lost. All Teammates benefiting from ARMOR or AUTO-BLOCK gain 4/5/6% BLOCKBUSTER METER when using a SPECIAL MOVE.

Wunderkind Umbrella:

• SA1: 50% chance on BLOCKBUSTER HIT to inflict POWER SURGE and gain BARRIER for 10/12/15 seconds each (also applies on blocked hits).
• SA2: While Umbrella is alive, the active fighter DRAINS 3/4/5% of the opponent's HEALTH every 3 seconds while they are suffering from 3 or more stacks of POWER SURGE.

Terror Byte Robo-Fortune:

• SA1: HEADRONE HITS (includes blocked hits) inflict INVERSE POLARITY and DISABLE opponent SPECIAL MOVES for 10/12/15 seconds each.
• SA2: While near an opponent suffering from a DEBUFF, both fighters gain 1/1.5/2% HEALTH per second.

First Time Bonus Canopy Coin and Theonite Refresh

In the Bank Vault, the first time bonus for Theonite and Canopy Coins has been refreshed as of August 28th, 2025 at 5PM UTC (10AM PDT). If you check the store, you should now have a first-time bonus available to you again if you previously purchased any Canopy Coins or Theonite in the past. We may look into refreshing this again in the future, and will notify you ahead of time if that happens!

Quality of Life Improvements

Fortune’s Favor system has gone through some UI changes to make it more clear navigating through the UI for it and making it clear when one of your choices appears in your relic openings.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an long-standing issue where projectiles were not triggering certain support variants’ effects on hit.
• Fixed an issue where Legendary Relics did not use Fortune’s Favor picks.
